Mitchell Research Center is located in Hillsdale Michigan. The Mitchell Research Center is the major collector of local and family history related to Hillsdale County and the surrounding area.  Our volunteers are here to provide needed or requested assistance with your searches.

 

The Mitchell Research Center is open to the public Monday - Thursday 10 am - 4 pm. We take research requests by phone at 437-6488 and by e-mail at mitchellresearchcenter@gmail.com. There is also a Send E-Mail form under the Visit Us tab at the top of this web page for research requests. Have an interest in history? We are always looking for people to volunteer and help others discover theirs.

For those who wish to help make a difference, donations can be designated to our long-term planning fund or our general fund. We currently accept cash or check donations. Checks can be made payable to Friend’s of MRC and mailed to or dropped of at 22 N. Manning Street, Hillsdale, MI 49242
